Included in this course bundle:
Prepare for the 2018 version of the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification Exam, which is what you will be tested on until the next CISSP curriculum update in 2021.
You obviously need to have the knowledge for the CISSP certification exam, but it is much more than that.
The CISSP exam is very much an English exam.
You need to be able to spot the keywords (PKI, policy, asymmetric, BCP) as well as the indicators (first, best, last, least, most).
Remember the new version of the CISSP exam is being used, you will test on the CAT format, 3 hour 100-150 questions (as of December 18th 2017).
The CISSP exam has 8 Domains, that make up the CISSP CBK (Common Bodies of Knowledge):
All questions will be multiple choice with either a single or multiple answers. You have 3 hours to answer the 100-150 questions.
You need to answer the questions from (ISC)²'s point of view, in their perfect world.
Understand and answer every question from a Manager or a Risk Advisers point of view, NOT from an executive or as a techie. Most hands-on techies that fail the CISSP exam do so because they answer from a point of being reactive, not being proactive.
Many students do 3,000 - 5,000 CISSP certification practice questions, when I did my CISSP certification I was around the 3,500 mark.
I would suggest 80%+ of right answers consistently on all CISSP domains using multiple practice tests before booking the exam.

KCBS Certified Barbecue Judge <- by far the tastiest!
Some certifications I let lapse, when I am no longer interested in working in that line of work and they do not compliment what I want to do moving forward. The ones I give up I don’t see as wasted at all, they got me to where I am now, and I am grateful for that.
Mahalo Nui Loa (Thank you very much) for being here:
I hope you I can help you get ahead in life through my courses.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or things you think I can improve on, please post them on the course Q&A page (preferable, then other students with same question doesn’t have to ask it again) or send me a message here.
I am proud to say that I recently passed the CISSP exam and that your CISSP video boot camp series and practices tests played a major role in my success. Thank you Thor! I really struggled with understanding cryptography, Kerberos, and virtualization concepts. Without your teaching expertise I surely would have failed those domains on the exam. Thor has an excellent insight on how to approach challenging questions on the test and a knack for simplifying complex topics.
For all of you out there embarking on the CISSP journey: When Thor says you need to take 4-5 thousand practice questions minimum, make note cards, and read up – he means it! It took me 8 thousand practice questions and many hundreds of note cards Be persistent, stay focused, and enjoy the process. You can't rush this or cram. Thor's boot camp and practice tests are a great asset for you as you pursue the CISSP, I highly recommend them.
Excellent! I've been in IT for nearly 30 years with multiple certs and they are almost never easy to pass, and the CISSP exam looks to be as challenging as any of them. This being said, this training is better than expected and I believe it's exactly what is needed for exam prep (along with some due diligence and much time taking and mastering practice exams).
